Media registration for 10th ministerial meeting of Lima Group in Ottawa

The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has announced that Canada will host the 10th ministerial meeting of the Lima Group in Ottawa, Ontario, on February 4, 2019.

Media accreditation

Media representatives wishing to participate are asked to register by email no later than Sunday, February 3, 11:59 p.m. ET. Please send your first and last names, media outlet, email address, phone number and the country you will be representing to media@international.gc.ca.

Media representatives will be asked to present valid press credentials upon arrival. Foreign correspondents may be asked for a letter of assignment.

Media centre

The media centre will be located at the John G. Diefenbaker Building, 111 Sussex Drive, Ottawa.

The media centre will provide accredited media with a workspace, including access to electrical power outlets and free Wi-Fi Internet access.

Entry formalities and visas

If you are travelling to Canada, please check before arriving to find out whether you need an entry visa. Visa-exempt foreign nationals are expected to have an Electronic Travel Authorization for air travel to Canada. Exemptions include U.S. and Mexican citizens, and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. You may also refer to Travel Canada to find out what documents are needed to enter Canada.

Transportation and accommodations

Media representatives are responsible for arranging their own accommodations.
