Minister of International Trade Diversification to discuss Canada’s commitments to foreign direct investment and international education in Winnipeg

April 25, 2019 - The Honourable Jim Carr, Minister of International Trade Diversification, will highlight how the CanExport program helps Canadian communities attract, retain, and expand foreign direct investment (FDI), as well as Budget 2019  investments in international education in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

This announcement will be an opportunity for Minister Carr to showcase how Canada’s trade diversification strategy – New Markets, New Customers, New Jobs – will help Canadian businesses expand into new markets, and help local communities to attract job-creating international investments and talent.
