June 11, 2019 - The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will visit Washington, D.C. for meetings with US officials, including: Michael R. Pompeo, Secretary of State and Bob Lighthizer, United States Trade Representative, as well as members of Congress. The Minister will also receive an award from the Association of Women in International Trade and deliver a keynote address.

Time: 10:45 a.m. ET
Location: State Department Building, 2201 C Street NW, Washington, D.C.
Notes: Photo spray at the beginning of the meeting. Media who wish to participate should register in advance with Colin.Shonk@international.gc.ca at the Canadian Embassy in Washington by 8:00 am on Wednesday, June 12. Media will be required to show accreditation at the 23rd Street entrance lobby. Camera operators should arrive no later than 10:00 a.m. Journalists and photographers should arrive no later than 10:30 a.m.
