•  In the 2017 to 2018 fiscal year, Canada invested close to $113 million in international assistance for the Democratic Republic of Congo, mostly for health and humanitarian assistance.

• Canada has actively responded to humanitarian needs and the Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

• Since 2000, Canada has contributed over $111 million in international assistance to the Republic of Congo to help fight climate change and improve the country’s agriculture, health and education sectors.
