Media briefing on International Donors’ Conference in Solidarity with Venezuelan Refugees and Migrants

June 8, 2021 - Canada will host the next International Donors’ Conference in Solidarity with Venezuelan Refugees and Migrants on Thursday, June 17, 2021, in collaboration with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and IOM, the International Organization for Migration, co-leads of the Regional Inter-Agency Coordination Platform for Refugees and Migrants from Venezuela (R4V).

Michael Grant, Assistant Deputy Minister for the Americas, Global Affairs Canada, and Eduardo Stein, Joint UNHCR-IOM Special Representative for Venezuelan refugees and migrants, will hold an on-the-record media briefing in advance of the conference. Officials from UNHCR and IOM will also be present.
