Minister Joly to hold a press conference following participation at the United Nations Human Rights Council Meeting

February 28, 2022 - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will hold a media availability at the conclusion of her participation at the United Nations Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva, Switzerland. At the meeting, the Minister will engage her counterparts and Canada’s partners on the importance of promoting and defending human rights around the world, and on meeting current global human rights challenges. She will also use her participation to call on the world to come together to denounce Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and to stand up for human rights.
