Minister of International Development to host Canada’s Together for Learning Summit: Engaging Displaced Youth to Transform Education

March 28, 2022 – The Honourable Harjit S. Sajjan, Minister of International Development and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada, will host Canada’s Together for Learning Summit: Engaging Displaced Youth to Transform Education, taking place March 30-31. At the Summit, Minister Sajjan will engage with youth and other partners on advancing inclusive and quality education, gender equality, as well as technology and innovation for displaced children and youth in low- and middle-income countries.

The Minister will be joined by key stakeholders, including ministers of education from low- and middle-income countries, development ministers, Canadian and international civil society organizations (CSOs), as well as the UN and other multilateral organizations and experts. A Youth Manifesto will be presented, followed by a Summit Outcome Document to address future commitments.
