Announcement of new diplomatic appointments

November 22, 2022 - Ottawa, Ontario - Global Affairs Canada

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointments:

Catherine Godin becomes Ambassador to the Republic of Poland. Ms. Godin replaces Leslie Scanlon.

Eric Walsh becomes High Commissioner in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Mr. Walsh replaces David McKinnon.
