Backgrounder: More than $6.2 million in government funding going to public infrastructure projects in Newfoundland and Labrador
News Release
The Governments of Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador have announced funding for 14 projects in communities across the province under the New Building Canada Plan's Small Communities Fund (SCF).
The federal and provincial governments have committed more than $2 million and $3.5 million, respectively, to the projects, which have a total eligible cost of more than $6.2 million. Recipient communities will be responsible for the remaining project costs.
