Identification, Design Features, and Prioritization of Needed Crosswalks Crossing Arterial and Collector Streets

This project consists of the identification of locations within Saint John where there is a need for crosswalks, define the type of crosswalk required in each location, and prioritize the locations. Accessible design features will be incorporated into many crosswalk locations to accommodate pedestrians of all abilities.

Preliminary Road Safety Public Education Plan

This project consists of the creation of a Road Safety Strategy, to be part of the City of Saint John’s new Transportation Plan. The Strategy will focus on educating and improving safety for all transportation modes, including active transportation.

This project includes the finalization of the Sidewalk Infill Strategy, which is part of the City of Saint John’s Transportation Plan, by prioritizing and constructing missing sections of sidewalks and trails.
