Government of Canada to announce major funding for discovery research in Nova Scotia

Halifax, Nova Scotia, June 22, 2016—The Honourable Scott Brison, President of the Treasury Board and Member of Parliament for Kings–Hants, on behalf of the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will announce Nova Scotia's portion of major funding for discovery research in the natural sciences and engineering. The funding includes grants to professors as well as scholarships to graduate students and post-doctoral fellows across Canada.

Media are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
