Government of Canada to engage G20 partners on science and innovation policy

Ottawa, November 1, 2016—On Friday, the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will speak on behalf of the Government of Canada at the G20 Science, Technology and Innovation Ministers Meeting in Beijing, China. The Minister will discuss Canada's Inclusive Innovation Agenda and explore greater international collaboration between G20 countries.
Following the G20 meeting, Minister Duncan will attend the international Carnegie Meeting where she will discuss the Government's initiatives to promote the inclusion of more women and other under-represented groups in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
