Minister Bains to promote diversity and inclusion in corporate Canada

Ottawa, December 13, 2016—The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, will deliver a keynote address and take questions from the audience at an event co-hosted by Stikeman Elliott LLP and Women in Capital Markets. The Minister will speak about the proposed amendments to Canada’s business framework laws, known as Bill C-25. He will highlight measures that support a greater number of women on corporate boards and in the senior management ranks of publicly traded companies. Media availability will follow.
