Minister Sohi to celebrate support for top science researchers at the University of Alberta

Edmonton, Alberta, December 1, 2016—The Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, on behalf of the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will celebrate support for science research and innovation at the University of Alberta. This support will help increase knowledge in all scientific disciplines, providing the evidence necessary to make sound policy decisions that benefit Canadians and grow the middle class.

After the announcement, Minister Sohi will tour a lab in the Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science (CCIS). Media are invited to join the tour.
