Minister Bains promotes diversity and inclusion on International Women’s Day

Ottawa, March 7, 2017—The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, will deliver remarks at a reception celebrating International Women’s Day. The reception is co-hosted by the Canada–India Centre for Excellence and Carleton University. The Minister will speak about how the changes proposed in Bill C-25 could boost the ranks of women in corporate boardrooms. He will also highlight the importance of supporting women entrepreneurs and innovators. Following his remarks, the Minister will participate in a panel discussion and a Q&A session with the audience.
