Government of Canada to celebrate International Day of Women & Girls in Science with Microsoft Research

Montréal, Quebec, February 9, 2018—Kate Young, Parliamentary Secretary for Science and Member of Parliament for London West, on behalf of the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will deliver the keynote address at Microsoft Research’s “I Chose STEM” symposium.

The event is in celebration of the International Day of Women & Girls in Science.

The Government of Canada remains committed to strengthening science in Canada and improving the representation of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
