Minister Chagger to open Sault St. Marie’s Bon Soo Winter Carnival

Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, February 1, 2018—The Honourable Bardish Chagger, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Minister of Small Business and Tourism, along with Terry Sheehan, Member of Parliament for Sault Ste. Marie, will attend the opening of Bon Soo Winter Carnival on February 2. The Minister will deliver brief welcoming remarks and will be available to media following the event.

Later that evening, Minister Chagger will join Mr. Sheehan to watch the Ontario Hockey League’s Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds play the Saginaw Spirit.

On February 3, Minister Chagger will participate in a round-table discussion with local tourism operators and other small business owners to hear about how the Government of Canada can support them as they grow their businesses and create jobs.
