Governments of Canada, Ontario and Quebec to make major investment in 5G technology

Ottawa, March 16, 2018—The Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development, the Honourable Reza Moridi, Ontario Minister of Research, Innovation and Science, and Dominique Anglade, Quebec Deputy Premier, Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation, and Minister responsible for the Digital Strategy, will announce funding for a revolutionary new project that aims to make Canada a top destination for businesses seeking to grow quickly, invest, create jobs and expand.
