Minister Duncan to take part in science festival with youth

Etobicoke, Ontario, May 11, 2018—The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will attend Science Rendezvous at University of Guelph-Humber. The event is part of Science Odyssey 2018, a 10-day cross-country celebration showcasing just how much science, technology and innovation shape our daily lives. As part of the Science Rendezvous event, the Minister will speak to participants about the importance of exploring science in the world around us. She will also participate in some of the demonstrations with the young participants.

The Minister will be available for a media scrum following her opening remarks.
