Minister Duncan to highlight the Government of Canada’s strong support for science at the launch of a new centre of expertise for women in STEM

Ottawa, Ontario, June 18, 2018—The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will attend the launch of a national centre of expertise for archiving the history of women who have contributed to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in Canada.

This centre is a collaboration between the University of Ottawa Library, Library and Archives Canada, and the International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists – Educational and Research Institute (INWES-ERI).
