Minister Duncan to tour biomedical 3D printing lab at the University of Victoria

Victoria, British Columbia, August 20, 2018—The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Sport, will be at the University of Victoria on August 21st to meet with researchers at the leading edge of science and innovation.

The Minister will meet with Dr. Stephanie Willerth, Canada Research Chair in Biomedical Engineering, tour her 3D printing laboratory, and hear about how Dr. Willerth and her team are addressing issues in brain health through bioengineering.

Media are invited to speak with the Minister before the tour and interview researchers and students working in the lab.
