Minister Duncan to take part in hands-on activities with students from Ottawa and Douglas, Ontario, for Science Literacy Week

Ottawa, Ontario, September 18, 2018—The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Sport, will visit with students from Lisgar Collegiate Institute and Opeongo High School today in Ottawa to participate in hands-on science activities. This event is organized by Let’s Talk Science to celebrate Science Literacy Week.

The Minister will speak with students and take part in a simulation of the Lisgar Collegiate Institute Space Simulation Club spacecraft, a tour of its planetarium and a hovercraft demo.
