Minister Monsef to announce investment in science and research

Peterborough, Ontario, October 5, 2018—The Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of Status of Women, on behalf of the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Sport, will announce an investment in science and research at Trent University.

Preceding the announcement, media are invited to tour the laboratories of some of the researchers receiving funding. Researchers and students benefitting from the funds will be available for interviews at that time.

Media are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in at the reception desk.
