Minister Ng to participate in fifth annual Startup Canada Day on the Hill

Ottawa, Ontario, October 17, 2018—To celebrate Small Business Week, the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business and Export Promotion, will participate in the following events at the fifth annual Startup Canada Day on the Hill:

Opening ceremony
Minister Ng will deliver opening remarks to kick off the day’s celebrations.

Panel discussion
Minister Ng will participate in a panel discussion, moderated by Catherine Cano, President of Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC), on scaling the entrepreneurial economy.

9:05 to 9:15 a.m.
Growing Youth Entrepreneurship policy hack-a-thon
Minister Ng will welcome a delegation of over 100 youth entrepreneurs and announce the challenge for their hack-a-thon: “How can Canada become the leading country in the world in fostering youth entrepreneurship?”
