Minister Joly to speak at the Economic Club of Canada about the economic potential of tourism in Canada and jobs for middle-class families

Toronto, Ontario, December 7, 2018—The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, will deliver remarks at the Economic Club of Canada in Toronto. Minister Joly will discuss the economic potential of tourism in Canada and how this sector creates good jobs to support middle-class families. She will also talk about Canada’s upcoming federal tourism strategy.

In addition, Dominic Barton, global managing partner emeritus of McKinsey, will speak about a newly released report, Unlocking the Potential of Canada’s Visitor Economy.
