Minister Joly in Gaspésie to talk winter tourism and economic growth

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, will visit Quebec’s Gaspésie region to speak about the economic opportunities and good jobs for middle-class families that the tourism sector offers.

Minister Joly will meet with organizers of the Traversées de la Gaspésie tomorrow to discuss the importance of tapping into the potential of Canada’s winter tourism. She will also address Traversées participants as they prepare for this world-famous sport experience. Minister Joly will be available to speak to media following her remarks.
