Government of Canada to highlight historic support for dynamic research environments to help a new generation of researchers thrive

The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Sport, will be at Simon Fraser University to highlight funding for research infrastructure and equipment at universities and research hospitals across Canada through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI).

The Minister will be joined by Terry Beech, Member of Parliament for Burnaby North–Seymour.  

Following the announcement, media will have the opportunity to ask Minister Duncan questions. She will also join researchers and students who will showcase their groundbreaking projects and research.
