Minister Champagne and Cement Association of Canada to announce partnership to advance leadership in low-carbon concrete

The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, Marie Glenn, Chair of the Cement Association of Canada Board of Directors, and Michael McSweeney, President and CEO of the Cement Association of Canada, will be taking part in a virtual event to launch a new partnership between the Government of Canada and the Canadian cement and concrete sector. This new partnership will strengthen Canada’s position as a global leader in the production of low-carbon concrete.

A media availability by teleconference will follow the announcement.
