Government of Canada to announce support for Canada’s brightest young researchers

November 25, 2022 – Ottawa, Ontario

Adam van Koeverden, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Sport, on behalf of the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Health, will announce the latest recipients of the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships and Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships. These talented Canadians are the next generation of top-tier doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers in health, natural sciences and engineering, and social sciences and humanities.

This in-person event will include a fireside chat with three recipients, which will be facilitated by Parliamentary Secretary van Koeverden.
