Ministers Joly and Champagne travelling to Republic of Korea to talk economic security

The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, will visit the Republic of Korea (South Korea) on May 16 to launch a bilateral high-level dialogue on economic security with their Korean counterparts.

The two ministers will then join the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, for his official visit to South Korea on May 17 and 18.

While in South Korea, Minister Champagne will also meet with top business and industry leaders from key economic and industrial sectors.
