Minister Champagne to announce the launch of the Canadian Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute

The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, will be joined by officials from the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR), the National Research Council of Canada and others to announce the launch of the Canadian Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute, whose creation was first announced in Budget 2024.

Time: 10:30 am (ET). The news conference will begin at 10:45 am (ET).
