Minister Philpott to make an announcement for Heart Health Month

Ottawa (February 1, 2017) – The Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Health, will mark the beginning of Heart Health Month by making an announcement regarding support for research into the prevention and treatment of heart disease and the promotion of heart health.

Media are invited to join Minister Philpott for a tour following the announcement. The tour will show how the University of Ottawa Heart Institute is connecting world-class research to patient care by showcasing its research, clinical care, and rehabilitation activities. Media will be allowed to take photos and video during the tour.
