One of the Biggest Investments in Diabetes Research in Canada

Ottawa, April 6, 2017 – David McGuinty, MP for Ottawa South, on behalf of the Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Health, will make an important announcement in support of diabetes research that will improve health outcomes and quality of care for Canadians with type 1 diabetes.

The event will offer reporters the opportunity to speak with MPs; country music superstar George Canyon, who will share his experience living with diabetes; the President of JDRF, the leading organization funding type 1 diabetes; diabetes researchers; and patients and families impacted by this announcement.
