Summer services at the Plains of Abraham continue until September 3. Four activities are yours to enjoy for one all-inclusive price. Pay your entrance fee to one of these activities and obtain admission to the other three free of charge: exhibition Battles | 1759-1760, exhibition Identities, exhibition Attention! at the Martello 1 Tower and a guided tour aboard Abraham’s Bus.
Daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until September 3 at the Plains of Abraham Museum. Ages 0 to 4 (free), ages 5 to 12 ($5.50), ages 13 to 17 and ages 65 and older ($12.50), ages 18 to 64 ($17), families ($41.75). Taxes included.
Battles | 1759-1760 is a unique, epic journey where visitors relive the battles of the Plains of Abraham and Sainte-Foy through dramatic accounts (immersive projection), interactive games (stations), period reproductions and a collection of costumes and uniforms from the era. And don’t miss the new interactive Law and Order section that traces unknown impacts underlying the conflict during the era of famous battles – at the Plains of Abraham Museum.
In addition to the human physical traces left behind at the Battlefields Park, discover their history and identity through the new, permanent Identities exhibition. View numerous theme artefacts from the Park’s archeological collection: housing, layout, work, food, communication, entertainment, clothing and appearance – at the Plains of Abraham Museum.
The Attention! exhibition invites you to enter the remains of a unique defence system and use a smart tablet (iPad) to explore the history of the Martello Towers of Quebec, their military engineering, their architecture and the living conditions of the military billeted in the towers. A unique, user-friendly, virtual reality and real-time experience in historical animation with the tower as a backdrop – at the Martello 1 Tower.
Board Abraham’s Bus and the colourful Abraham Martin or his wife will help you discover various aspects of the history of the Plains named after him. During the tour on Abraham’s Bus tinged with humour, learn about the Park’s unforgettable places and well-kept secrets – several departures from the Plains of Abraham Museum.
