The Plains of Abraham come alive for Halloween!

The Plains of Abraham are about to be transformed into haunted settings where young and old will tremble with fear… and shake with laughter! From October 1 to November 10, discover a series of Halloween activities. Some are free and others are offered at various prices. Halloween at the Plains of Abraham is a must-see!

Quick facts

  • Decorations at the Garden
    October 1 to November 4, daily. At the Joan of Arc Garden. Free.

    Mysterious decors and tombstones are reminders of the history of the Plains of Abraham. Learn about legends and realities related to the park.

  • Ghoulish Walk
    October 13, 20, 26, 27 and 31, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Departure from the Martello 2 Tower. Reservation required. $16 / adult. Ages 13 and older. In French only.

    Guided tour, lantern in hand, to discover the Plains under a more ghoulish light. The was a time when the Battlefields Park was the site of dark, illicit activities. Experience the grim history of the Park and the obscure legends surrounding it.

  • Haunted Tower
    October 20, 21, 27 and 28, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. At the Martello 2 Tower and the Joan of Arc Garden. $3 / ages and older. Free for children ages 4 and under.

    Entertainment, surprises and a tour of the fabulous decors on the Martello tower roof where bewitching scenes await you. Stand-alone quiz and a trip on the mini-train to visit the Joan of Arc Garden. Guaranteed fun for families.

  • Tales of the Bad Old Days
    October 20, 26, 27 and November 3 and 10, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. At the Martello 4 Tower. Reservation required. $10 / adult. Ages 13 and older. In French only.

    Shameful diseases, epidemics, stolen corpses, dubious hygiene and violent deaths are detailed in true historic anecdotes shared through lively storytelling at the Martello 4 Tower. An incredible opportunity to discover the most enigmatic of the Martello towers!
