REGARD: horror night! at Martello Tower 2

The National Battlefields Commission is pleased to invite you to a special Halloween-themed evening on Friday, November 2nd at 7:30 pm at Martello Tower 2. REGARD: horror night! is an exclusive event that will showcase seven horror short films presented at the Saguenay International Short Film Festival, REGARD. Parody, horror, and animated films are all lined up for a fun and spooky evening that combines Halloween and history!

Quick facts

  • Characters straight from the past will introduce you to the history of the Martello towers and present seven horror short films that were screened at the 2018 REGARD Festival: Death Metal, Kung Fury, Teeth, No Wave, Kaddish!, Saatanan Kanit, and Bad Guys #2. They will be shown in their original language with French or English subtitles.

  • This special screening will be interspersed with short presentations about the history of the Plains of Abraham. Corporal punishment, torture, and surgery techniques from the past are just a few of the obscure and unknown topics our historical characters will discuss at Martello Tower 2.

  • Places are limited, so book your spots now. $10 per person. Attendees must be at least 16 years old. From 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Learn more and book online or by telephone at 418-649-6157 or 1-855-649-6157.

  • REGARD is the biggest short film festival in Canada and one of the most important short film festivals in North America. A welcoming place to share ideas, the festival hosts an international competition and prepares a unique and imaginative program, which will be offered next March in Saguenay.
