With family or friends, meet ghosts from the past and learn about the grim history of the Plains and the characters who shaped it. From October 1 to November 16, a new program is offered with exciting and scary activities for young and old. Engage in the season well beyond October 31!

  • Decorations at the Garden
    October 1 to November 3, daily. At the Joan of Arc Garden. Free.

    Mysterious decors and tombstones remind visitors of the history of the Plains of Abraham. Learn about legends and realities related to the park.

  • Ghoulish Walk
    October 12, 19, 25, 26 and 31, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Departure from the Martello Tower 2. Reservation required. $14.75 (taxes not included). Ages 13 and older. In French only.

    Lantern in hand, join this spellbinding interactive walking tour and experience the grim history of the Battlefields Park and the obscure legends surrounding it.

  • Stories to Wake the Dead - NEW
    October 18, at 8 p.m. At the Martello Tower 2. Reservation required. $20.00 (taxes not included). Ages 12 and older. In French only.

    In the mysterious atmosphere of the Martello Tower 2, listen to storytellers with imaginations that thrill and delight!  In cooperation with the Festival international du conte Jos Violon de Lévis.

  • Haunted Tower
    October 19, 20, 26 and 27, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. At the Martello Tower 2 and the Joan of Arc Garden. $3.25 / Ages 5 and older. Free for children ages 4 and under.

    A fabulous walk awaits you in the Martello Tower with entertainment, a standalone quiz and a trip on the mini-train at the garden. Guaranteed fun for families.

  • Tales of the Bad Old Days
    October 19 and 26; November 1, 2, 9 and 16, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. At the Martello Tower 4. Reservation required. $10.50 (taxes not included). Ages 13 and older. In French only.

    Learn about the darkest days of the 19th century: fires, epidemics, hygiene, shameful diseases, corporal punishment, drunkenness and fights. Genuine historical anecdotes presented inside the mysterious Martello Tower 4!

  • REGARD Horror Night!
    November 1, at 7:30 p.m. At the Martello Tower 2. Reservation required. $12.00 (taxes not included).

    In the unique decor of the Martello Tower 2, participate in a lively evening featuring a series of short films both chilling and unusual.

  • The Convict’s Last Drink - NEW
    November 7, at 5 p.m., and November 8, at 8 p.m. At the Martello Tower 2. Reservation required. $16.00 (taxes not included). Ages 18 and older. In French only.

    Tavern owner Jos Vaillancourt welcomes you to his establishment for a lively activity on military justice, leisure activities and punishment meted out to soldiers in the 19 century. Historical re-creation and beer sampling on the menu!
