The National Battlefields Commission (NBC) is delighted to learn that museums in Quebec will open their doors to the public next week. It’s an announcement that really hits the spot - just in time for the spring break! The entire team at the NBC is thrilled to announce that the Plains of Abraham Museum will be welcoming visitors once again as of Friday February 12. Come explore the history of the siege of Québec and the battles of the Plains of Abraham or obtain Shoot, score!, our new treasure hunt to take out!

Plains of Abraham Museum
Battles 1759-1760, Identities and Traces exhibitions. Historically costumed guides are on hand to greet you, bring the Battles exhibition to life and ensure compliance with current health measures.
The Museum will open on February 12, 13 and 14; February 19, 20 and 21, then daily thereafter from February 26. Schedule and rates available online.

Shoot, score! new
Outdoor treasure hunt to take out. Learn about the Plains of Abraham’s sports heritage! An entertaining activity to enjoy independently in a family bubble on the Plains.

Heath measures in effect
Nothing has been left to chance to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors: itinerary with signage between the halls, limited number of visitors to exhibitions, hydroalcoholic gel hand sanitizer, protective measures (plexiglass). Wearing a face covering or mask is mandatory in the Museum and washroom facilities. Visit our website for more information.
