New distribution agreement between the NFB and the International  Festival on Art (FIFA)

The National Film Board of Canada and the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) have reached a new distribution agreement regarding the screening of 32 films on the FIFA’s ARTS.FILM platform throughout 2023.

Quick facts

NFB productions available on ARTS.FILM in 2023:

• Four award-winning animated shorts can be enjoyed as of now:
  • Mindscape by Jacques Drouin
  • The Subject by Patrick Bouchard
  • Tower Bawher and Blind Vaysha by Theodore Ushev
    
• Other films will be programmed during the year, including works that are not currently available free of charge on nfb.ca, like Le Québec as Seen by Cartier-Bresson, produced by Guy Glover (1969), Reel Injun by Neil Diamond, Catherine Bainbridge and Jeremiah Hayes (2010), and Norman McLaren: Animated Musician by Donald McWilliams (2014).

The ARTS.FILM platform offers unlimited access to films about art across the country, through an annual subscription.
