Have Your Say on the Proposed Line 3 Pipeline Replacement Project

Media Advisory

May 25, 2016

OTTAWA — Canadians are invited to provide their comments on the proposed Line 3 pipeline replacement project through a new, online questionnaire launched today by the Government of Canada.

The questionnaire will be available to Canadians until September 15, 2016. Background information on the proposed project, including the National Energy Board’s recommendation report, is also available for reference. A report summarizing the comments received will be available in the fall.

The views of Canadians will help inform the Government of Canada’s decision on the proposed project, expected in November 2016. All Canadians, particularly those along the pipeline route from Hardisty, Alberta, to Gretna, Manitoba, are invited to complete the questionnaire:  https://nrcan-rncan.sondages-surveys.ca/s/Line-3-Oil-Pipeline/langeng/
