Opening of New Facility at Chalk River Laboratories

CHALK RIVER, ONTARIO — Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Jim Carr, and the Minister’s Parliamentary Secretary, Kim Rudd, will deliver remarks at the inauguration of the new, state-of-the-art nuclear research facility at Chalk River Laboratories. The announcement will be preceded by a guided tour for media.

Minister Carr and Parliamentary Secretary Rudd will take questions from the media following the announcement.
