From July 4th to 7th, the Marine Careers Expo is in Québec, QC and rolling out the red carpet in this year’s Rendez-vous naval de Québec. Come meet sailors from the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) and Canadian Coast Guard before touring ships from Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. You can even try your hand at being a Sailor for a Day! After enjoying what our ships have to offer you can spend the rest of your day enjoying the family-friendly activities in La Cité-Limoilou.

Thursday July 4

Ship arrivals | 10:00 am to 11:00 am 

His Majesty’s Canadian Ships (HMCS) Fredericton and William Hall arrive in Québec City.  

Timing subject to change

Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Armed Forces booths | 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm 

We have equipment and interactive displays to come check out and experience!

Learn about the military way of life aboard a Royal Canadian Navy vessel as well as the opportunities and challenges of a career in Canada’s navy. Sign-up for a chance to get an in-depth tour of the Harry DeWolf-class Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessel HMCS William Hall

Participants must be 16 and over. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Event is in English and French.

Come and tour HMCS Fredericton, a Halifax-class Patrol Frigate, and HMCS William Hall our latest commissioned Harry DeWolf-class Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessel to see what life on ship is like!

Note: To tour one of our ships, you must be able to climb stairs and ladders under your own power, stand for moderate amounts of time, and not have a medical condition that would prevent you from touring a ship. The decks (floors) of ships may move, be uneven, or have tripping hazards on them. 

Saturday July 6

Parade

Come see our sailors as they conduct formation marching as they celebrate our attendance at this wonderful event.
