The Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, today announced the appointment of Mr. Ken Campbell to the Board of Directors of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation. Mr. Campbell will become the Manitoba Director on the Board.
Residents in Resort Municipality, Kensington and Kinkora will benefit from water and sewer replacements and extensions, as well as the installation of wind turbines, thanks to joint investments by the governments of Canada, Prince Edward Island and the local municipalities.
Five organizations, including local businesses and educational institutions, will receive awards for their support to Canada's Reserve Force, Tuesday, March 10, 2009. The Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC) will present the awards in conjunction with the Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce Business Luncheon.
