The Honourable Vic Toews, Member of Parliament for Provencher (Manitoba), on behalf of the Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry, today announced support for a research and development (R&D) project that will sustain Canada's participation in the multinational Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. The project, undertaken by Bristol Aerospace Limited -- a division of Magellan Aerospace Limited of Mississauga, Ontario -- will create and maintain highly skilled jobs in Canada, while contributing to an aerospace composite centre of excellence in Winnipeg.
