December 16, 2014 - Amherst, Nova Scotia In Cumberland County, the federal government partnered with Ducks Unlimited Canada this summer to undertake important fish passage improvements along the Missaguash River. Member of Parliament Scott Armstrong, on behalf of the Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, highlighted today the results of this collaboration. Through the Recreational Fisheries Conservation Partnerships Program (RFCPP) the Government of Canada committed $32,000 to support the conservation of fish habitat in Amherst, Nova Scotia.
