The Canada Employment Insurance Commission (CEIC) today made public the Employment Insurance (EI) Maximum Insurable Earnings (MIE) level for 2016, along with rates for EI premiums, the Quebec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP) and the Premium Reduction Program. The CEIC is responsible for preparing reports on all elements of premium rate-setting, including the MIE.
