Government of CanadaFebruary 12, 2004GOVERNMENT OF CANADA ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL ETHANOL PROPOSALSOn February 13, in Sarnia, Ontario, Rosemary Ur, Member of Parliament for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex, and Roger Gallaway, Member of Parliament for Sarnia-Lambton, will announce the successful proposals in the first round of the Ethanol Expansion Program. These companies will receive contributions to build new fuel ethanol facilities across Canada under a program to increase fuel ethanol production, thereby reducing transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to climate change.
