PUBLIC NOTICE: CHAUDIÈRES BRIDGE - LANE REDUCTIONS

May 27, 2004 For immediate release GATINEAU, Quebec -- Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise all motorists that lane reductions will be in effect on sections of the Chaudières Bridge from Monday, May 31 until October 2004. Traffic in both directions will be affected at different stages of the work. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes whenever possible. These lane reductions are necessary to allow repairs to be made to the concrete and steel structures of the bridge.
