Unveiling of the 'Adrienne Clarkson' peony

June 17, 2004 OTTAWA – On the occasion of the Canadian Peony Society's annual show, to be held at Rideau Hall on June 19 and 20, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada, will be presented with the very first "Adrienne Clarkson" peony. The presentation will take place on Saturday, June 19, 2004, at 1 p.m. The "Adrienne Clarkson" peony is a tall, single herbaceous hybrid peony with pale yellow flowers fading to cream with raspberry-pink flares.
