PUBLIC NOTICE: ROAD PAVING AT MAISONNEUVE AND LAURIER

News Release

GATINEAU, QUEBEC - Aug. 30, 2004 -- Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise motorists that both sides of Maisonneuve Boulevard just north of Laurier, and the adjacent sections of Laurier (beside Place du Portage Phases III and IV) will be re-paved with a new coating of asphalt. While lane closures will only take place outside peak traffic hours, motorists can expect some degree of traffic disruption throughout the days until the work is completed. The work will start on August 30 and continue until September 11. The paving is necessary due to the deterioration of the existing asphalt.
